Brexit Guide for EU Nationals #2: What Does the UK Government’s Proposal Mean For Me?

London_Brexit_pro-EU_protest_March_25_2017_25Theresa May made a proposal to the EU this week, concerning the position of EU nationals living in the UK after Brexit.

But what impact does it have on EU nationals right now? Do they need to do anything? What’s happened to CSI? Is this proposal now the law?

We’ve produced a guide that answers these questions (link below), explaining the proposal in plain English. We hope that it will be of practical use to EU nationals facing such uncertainty in the UK and help them to make informed choices in the months ahead.

New Free Guides: Advice for EU Nationals in the UK after Brexit

Today we’re delighted to launch a new series of guides, providing free and useful advice for EU nationals currently in the UK, in the light of Brexit.

First in this series is ‘CSI: what is it? Do I need it? How do I get it?’ (link below). You’ll find practical tips on European Health Insurance cards vs. private insurance, how and where to apply, advice for families and lots more.

Other guides in the series will cover issues such as advice for employers after Brexit, how to apply for permanent residency, and answering other questions we frequently hear, such as ‘Can I get a mortgage as an EU citizen in the UK, now Brexit is happening?’.
